Client Rights and Responsibilities Clients have the right to be respected to be given care based on support and healing, to receive safe and professional care, to be free from mental and physical abuse, to be involved in all decisions regarding services, to be given information about the services they receive, to give or refuse consent to services, to discuss the therapy process with the therapists, to have ethics, culture, family values, race, religion, gender, finances, and special needs respected, to receive privacy about personal and medical information, to see all personal information held and give consent for information exchange, to voice concerns about and request changes in their services, to know who to contact if they have concerns.
Clients have the responsibility to be available for service to be involved in and follow the care plan to show consideration for the therapist to ask questions about care to provide all necessary information to the therapist to help with care to use equipment and therapy materials safely and correctly to follow safety recommendations to follow suggestions regarding activities of daily living to make sure therapy and home practice is in a safe, quiet location to complete home programming suggestions and homework outside the therapy session to call the 1to1 Rehab therapist if they have to miss an appointment |
